Managed hosting, servers and internet infrastructure.
The layer between your business and the internet — web servers, application servers, databases, e-mail, DNS, certificates and connectivity — set up properly and looked after. Not cables and hardware: the responsibility for keeping systems online, fast and current.
Every website, shop, portal and business application runs on servers that someone has to keep patched, monitored and reachable. We do that for our clients’ systems, wherever they are hosted.
Managed servers
- Set-up and hardening of Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, Rocky) and Windows Server
- Web servers (nginx, Apache, IIS), application runtimes, reverse proxies
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL / MariaDB, SQL Server — installation, tuning, backups
- Scheduled patching with maintenance windows
- Performance and capacity monitoring, log management
Hosting of websites, shops and applications
- WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopware, Magento and custom applications
- Staging environments and deployment pipelines
- Caching and content delivery network (CDN) set-up
- Uptime monitoring with alerting
- Migrations between providers without downtime
Domains, DNS and certificates
- Domain portfolio management and renewals
- DNS hosting with change history
- TLS certificates issued and renewed automatically
- Web application firewall and DDoS protection at the edge (Cloudflare or provider-native)
E-mail infrastructure and deliverability
- Mail on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, or a dedicated mail server where appropriate
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured and monitored
- Transactional e-mail for applications: order confirmations, notifications, alerts
- Archiving and retention in line with legal requirements
Connectivity and networking
- Site-to-site and remote-access VPN
- Firewall configuration and rule reviews
- Secure access to internal systems without exposing them to the internet
- Coordination of internet lines and on-site networking with local partners
Unmanaged hosting
You rent a server or a virtual machine. Updates, security, backups and monitoring are your job; the provider replaces the hardware and nothing else.
Shared hosting
Inexpensive and adequate for a simple brochure site. Limited control, shared resources, no say in patching or configuration.
Managed by Get Clicks
We run the system and you own it: named administrators, agreed response times, patching, monitoring, backups, a monthly report and documentation. Suitable for anything that earns money or holds personal data.
Managed cloud
The same responsibility on AWS, Azure or a European provider, with infrastructure as code and scaling — see Cloud management.
Access and inventory week 1
Accounts, servers, DNS, certificates, backups and contracts are recorded. Administrator access is consolidated and protected with MFA.
Risk review weeks 1–2
Unpatched software, exposed services, missing or untested backups, expiring certificates and single points of failure — ranked by risk.
Fix list weeks 2–4
Agreed with you and executed in maintenance windows, with a rollback path for each change.
Routine monthly
Patching, monitoring, backups, capacity checks and a report.
- Monitoring 24/7 with alerts to our on-call rota.
- Patching monthly; security patches sooner.
- Backups daily, off-site, restore-tested on a schedule.
- Certificates and DNS managed and monitored.
- Incident response in business hours; on-call cover for critical systems by arrangement.
- Monthly report: uptime, incidents, changes, capacity.
- Documentation and access: yours, at all times.
Do you sell hardware or install networks?
No. We specify and design, and we coordinate trusted local partners for cabling, hardware and on-site installation. Our responsibility is the software layer and the running system.
Our site runs on a small shared hosting plan. Do we need this?
For a brochure site that is rarely changed, a good shared plan with our monitoring may be enough. For shops, portals and anything that earns money or holds personal data, a managed server or cloud environment with backups and patching is the appropriate level.
What happens when a server goes down at night?
Monitoring alerts us immediately. For clients with on-call cover we act at once; for business-hours contracts we act at the start of the next business day, and the architecture — redundancy, backups — is designed with that in mind.
Can you host in Austria?
Yes. Data centres in Vienna and elsewhere in Austria, as well as in Germany and other EU countries, are available through the providers we work with.
